Verdon was designed by Melanie Berg for Rosy Green Wool's Merino d'Arles and was inspired by the seasonal migration of this traditional sheep breed between Alpine meadows and protected valleys like the stunning Verdon Gorge.
A generous rectangular shawl Verdon uses four different colours of Merino d'Arles and uses short-rows to seamlessly combine garter stitch stripes with lace.
Shown knitted with the colours Mistral (2 skeins), Montagne (2 skeins), Houlette (2 skeins) and Rivière (2 skeins).
